This is the scale of the day.

A scattered field running across acres of wet sand. A grey pickup keeping station on the right, two up in the back, the way beach meetings actually work. Heavy cloud sitting on the hills. A couple of birds under the weather. The water on the sand throwing the sky back at you.

Just the meeting as it is run: a temporary track on a working strand, a vehicle for the stewards, and weather that can cancel the whole thing overnight — as it did in 2025 when stone covered the beach.
